Mountain Playhouse Student Theater Workshop

ashley2016 200  Workshop

Stage 0099
Do you love to perform?  Dreaming about a career in live theater production?

We invite all students ages 12 to 16 with an interest in the performing arts to attend the Mountain Playhouse Student Theater Workshop - 10 am - 10 pm Oct 8 (including 8pm performance of Cowgirls).

The event is not just for those interested in acting. In addition to performing, under the guidance of professional actress Ashley Puckett Gonzales, students will also learn how to prepare for an audition; and how the stage manager, director, prop master, costume designer and choreographer all work together to bring a play to life.  The final segment of the day will be an actual performance using techniques learned throughout the day, all under the expert guidance of Gonzales.  What an exciting day!

There's more! At the end of the workshop session, all participants will be treated to a pizza party and admission to the 8 pm performance of the musical Cowgirls, in which Ashley will perform. $65 Fee includes workshop, pizza party and show.
